Clinical Architecture is pleased to announce that our CEO, Charlie Harp, was elected the 2023–2024 Chair of AMIA’s Informatics Partnership Council (IPC).
AMIA’s IPC is the home for leading organizations to connect and collaborate on shared informatics interests. Members of the IPC have played a vital role in advancing the industry and providing valuable insight and innovation for the informatics community.
Clinical Architecture’s CEO Charlie Harp stated “Healthcare informatics is how we as an industry can influence healthcare data quality in a positive way. The quality and reliability of our information will determine the effectiveness of clinical decision support, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. If your organization is involved in healthcare, I would encourage you to become a corporate partner of AMIA and help us shape this foundational aspect of our industry.”
Throughout the next two years, Charlie, Vice Chair Dr. Howard Strasberg, MD, Wolters Kluwer Health, and the other members of the IPC will work collaboratively to address the common issues of secondary use of data, privacy and security, interoperability, and participating in advocacy for informatics.
